Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Newport, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in an outpatient clinic. You will prescribe appropriate medications, complete documentation, and collaborate with staff to provide holistic care, including referrals to other providers and community services.

Injections are part of the duties. The position requires active NP licensure in the state and preferred experience in addiction medicine or

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner licensure active in state of practice
• Specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice or Psychiatry
• DEA Certificate of Registration with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5
• Must have or be eligible for Medicaid/Medicare credentials
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
• Will perform injections
