Job summary

Senior PsychCare seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a compassionate mental health team serving elders in Clinton, OK State Veteran Home.

You will deliver geriatric behavioral health care with support from psychiatrists and a flexible schedule, conducting cognitive and emotional assessments and managing medications in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Oklahoma
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required
• Geriatric population experience preferred
• Spanish bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set and manage treatment plans
• Manage psychotropic medications and gradual dose reductions
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system

Senior PsychCare provides collaborative behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of Oklahoma
