Job summary

Senior PsychCare (SPC) invites Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a mission-driven behavioral health team serving nursing home and assisted living residents in Texas and surrounding states.

You will work in a collaborative environment with psychiatrists, deliver care in person and via telehealth, and enjoy flexible scheduling. SPC offers robust support, competitive pay, training, and growth opportunities while focusing on continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Texas.
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
• Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling locally.
• Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC's behavioral health team.
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system.
