Senior PsychCare seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a mission-driven behavioral health team serving residents in long-term care facilities. You’ll collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and clinicians to provide comprehensive mental health care, with opportunities for telehealth when appropriate.

This flexible position can be full-time or part-time, offering a supportive environment, paid training, and growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization in Texas.

Qualifications

Licensed NP or PA in Texas.
Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred.
Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally.
Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care.

Responsibilities

Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans.
Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions.
Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team.
Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual).
Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system.
