Job summary

Community Health Network, in partnership with GoHealth Urgent Care, seeks a Physician Assistant to deliver urgent care services across diverse patient populations. You will assess, diagnose, and treat acute conditions, perform minor procedures, and coordinate care within a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes independent work with physician oversight, strong diagnostic skills, and proficient use of EMR systems to document care and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of full-time licensed PA/NP experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications.
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, casting.
• Document encounters in the EMR and educate patients on care.

We would love for you to become a member of our team!About the RoleAs a Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
