Job summary

Premise Health in Thief River Falls, MN is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center.

In this role you’ll perform primary care and light occupational health, conduct exams, order tests, and coordinate care with physicians, with a strong emphasis on patient education.

We offer a 20–29 hour schedule, CEU allowance, competitive pay, 401(k) with company match, holidays and PTO, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• RN licenses required to practice
• Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates required
• State prescriptive authority where applicable
• DEA license for states of practice as applicable
• National certification required (ANCC/AANP)
• Master’s in Nursing; transcripts if needed
• CPR/BLS/ACLS certification required; healthcare provider training
• 3+ years clinical NP experience in ambulatory/occupational health/family or ED

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Orders/interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists as needed
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines

• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $62,400.00 - $78,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
