Job summary

Premise Health in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to employees and dependents at our Las Vegas Health Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch.

You will conduct exams, perform procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, collaborate with physicians, prescribe treatments, and maintain accurate records. A strong set of licenses and national certification is required, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• State RN licenses/certificates to practice.
• Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
• State Prescriptive Authority.
• Federal DEA license.
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license as required in your state.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing.
• BLS/ACLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate, up-to-date documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
