Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive primary care in a community health setting in the Greater Sacramento area, CA.

The position requires active CA RN/NP licenses, NP board certification, DEA and BLS, with 1–2 years of clinical experience. Bilingual abilities are strongly preferred. Relocation assistance available. Compensation ranges from $131,000 to $170,000 annually.

Qualifications

• California RN license and Nurse Practitioner license required.
• NP board certification current.
• DEA certification current.
• BLS certification current.
• 1–2 years clinical experience, preferably in community health or underserved populations.
• Commitment to serving low-income or medically underserved communities.
• Comfortable seeing three patients per hour.
• In-basket management competency; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education and counseling.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).

Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care services within a community health center setting. This role offers the opportunity to serve diverse and underserved populations while working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred
