Nassir Medical Corporation dba Cancer Care Institute in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our oncology/hematology clinic. This full-time role offers opportunities to manage caring for cancer patients across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include performing histories and exams, ordering tests, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• California NP license in good standing is required.
• Prescriptive authority including DEA license (Schedules 3-5) is required.
• National board certification appropriate to the NP specialty.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• Oncology or hematology-oncology experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate, highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our oncology/hematology specialty clinic in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage oncology/hematology patients throughout the continuum of care.
• Obtain comprehensive histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Monitor treatment response, symptoms, and potential treatment-related complications.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and supportive care.
• Coordinate care with oncologist, primary care providers, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as Nurse Practitioner
• Current California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Prescriptive authority in California (including DEA license Schedules 3-5)
• National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Oncology or hematology-oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
