Job summary

Premise Health seeks a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care for employees and dependents at our Midland Health Center. Schedule is 32 hours weekly: Tue–Thu 7:30am–5:00pm, Fri 7:30am–3:00pm. Prior primary or urgent care experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities include exams, injections, care planning, patient education, diagnostic testing, and coordinating with physicians. Active licensure, DEA, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of clinical NP experience in ambulatory care or urgent care.
• Maintains state RN and NP licenses and prescriptive authority where applicable.
• Current DEA license and BLS certification required; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refs patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient health records and staff education.

As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Midland, TX. The scheduled hours are 32 hours per week, Tuesday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm. Previous primary or urgent care experience strongly preferred. Must be comfortable with ages 2+. What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines

• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care


• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development


• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions


• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care


• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies


• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed


• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records


• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices


• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)


• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)


• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services


• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
