Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational health services at an onsite Health Center in Atlanta, GA.

The role includes conducting exams, treatments, and care plan development for employees, with a schedule offering four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts plus one 4-hour evening shift weekly, and every other weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in ambulatory/occupational health, NP licensure, ANCC/AANP certification, DEA license

Qualifications

• Current RN license and NP prescriptive authority as applicable.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or urgent care.
• ANCC or AANP certification required.
• BLS; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and documents progress.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains health records and updates documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Atlanta, GA.

• Provide occupational health services to employees in an onsite airport health center, including employee assessments, triage, and first aid.
• Preferred background in Occupational Health, ER or Urgent Care setting.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule with flexibility to work either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, plus one 4-hour evening shift each week. Evening shifts are typically 3:00 PM–7:00 PM, with every other weekend coverage required. Schedule details are flexible and can be discussed with the hiring team.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
