Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a nurse to administer medications for incarcerated patients enrolled in the MAT program. You will triage patients referred to treatment for opioid or alcohol use disorders and ensure accurate medication handling according to regulations.

Required is a valid MA nursing license (LPN or RN) and CPR/BLS certification. Prior experience in substance abuse or acute care is preferred; weekend/shift considerations apply in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

Schedule: 32 hours a week. 5:00am-1:00pm, every other weekend required

Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
• Must have current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
• DOC experience preferred
