Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a licensed nurse to administer medications for Opioid Use Disorder within the MAT program for incarcerated patients at Old Colony Correctional Center.

The role requires MA nursing licensure and CPR/BLS certification. You will triage treatment referrals, ensure accurate medication handling, and comply with state and federal standards; prior DOC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care preferred.
• DOC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients in the MAT program.
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for OUD and/or AUD.
• Counting and administering medication per state and federal standards.

Location:

Bridgewater, MA - Old Colony Correctional Center. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program

Schedule:

32 hours a week. 5:00am-1:00pm, every other weekend required

Pay rate:

$38.00-$42.00/hour. $10/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse Is Responsible For

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
• Must have current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
• DOC experience preferred
