Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a leader to oversee the administration of patient care operations. This role focuses on human resources management, operations, facilities and patient coordination to ensure high-caliber care and treatment.

The position requires a BSN and extensive nursing experience with supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will drive quality improvement, maintain regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 7 years of professional nursing experience required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bio/Chemo card and oncology nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in patient care operations.
• Implements and evaluates continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with institutional policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Provides financial oversight including supply inventory and equipment budget prep.
• Ensures performance against annual budget with corrective actions as needed.
• Oversees staff selection, supervision, development and performance evaluation.
• Develops staffing plans and staffing resource justification.
• Maintains clinical practice standards across units.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
