UT Health San Antonio seeks a seasoned nursing leader to oversee patient care operations and drive quality initiatives on a campus in San Antonio, Texas. This role directs staff, manages resources, and ensures adherence to budgets and standards.

The successful candidate will hold a BSN, bring extensive nursing experience, and demonstrate strong program management and collaboration skills in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of concepts, practices, and policies with complex situations.
• Direct and contribute to initiatives while fostering collaboration and workflow improvements.
• Knowledge of business and management concepts for planning, resource allocation, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in patient care operations.
• Implements and evaluates continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Provides financial oversight including supply inventory and equipment budgeting.
• Monitors performance to annual budget and takes corrective action when needed.
• Oversees staff selection, supervision, development and evaluation.
• Develops staffing plans and justifies incremental resources.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
