Job summary

Consumer Directed Services Inc. is seeking a registered nurse (RN) or graduate nurse (GN) for a neuro and pulmonary stroke unit to deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform complex assessments for COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, and stroke, and work with stroke coordinators, including tele-neuro services as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and evaluate caregiving effectiveness.
• Perform complex assessments and interventions for COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, and stroke (including high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, or chest tubes).
• Collaborate with stroke coordinators and utilize tele-neuro services as needed.
• Maintain licensure, adhere to professional standards, and participate in ongoing education.
