Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure, with ongoing compliance to licensing requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Monitor neurologic changes in neuro-pulmonary stroke unit and provide patient education.

Neuro RN/GN, 24 hours per week, night shift, in a neuro-pulmonary stroke unit.

Sign-On Bonus

Graduate Nurse $10,000; Experienced Nurse $13,000.

Unit Focus

Care for patients with pulmonary conditions like COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, and complex interventions such as high flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. Collaborate closely with stroke care teams, monitor for subtle neurological changes, and provide patient education on stroke management. Tele-neuro services may be utilized.
