  • Deliver comprehensive, safe, and effective nursing care in the NICU.
  • Advocate for patients and balance complex medical needs with comfort.
  • Recognize and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
  • Communicate effectively to coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Educate and reassure families, addressing concerns to help them feel at ease.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our NICU, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. Our Exceptional Environment:As a national Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program (NIDCAP) training center, St. Joseph's offers a unique environment. Our commitment to individualized attention ensures optimal care with dedicated nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 based on acuity).

  • Deliver comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Prioritize and advocate, expertly managing patient care and, balancing complex medical needs with comfort.
  • Swiftly recognize and adapt to changes in patient conditions.
  • Utilize effective communication for seamless team coordination.
  • Empower families by patiently guiding and informing families, addressing thier concerns to ensure they feel at ease
Job Requirements
Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse: AZ

  • Bachelors Other Science Nursing
  • One year recent acute care experience
