Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center, part of Dignity Health, seeks a CCICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU. You will perform critical assessments, execute care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required: 1 year RN acute care experience, AZ RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months. Education benefits available after 180 days for eligible staff.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

• One (1) year RN acute care experience
• ADN Diploma or foreign equivalent
• Current AZ State RN License in good standing
• Current BLS healthcare provider card
• Current ACLS card must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Preferred

• Bachelors of Nursing Degree
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
