Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU RN to provide focused, high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will perform critical assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advance your skills within a renowned hospital network.

Ideal candidates have an active AZ (or compact) RN license, ADN/ diploma or foreign equivalent, and at least one year of ICU experience, with ACLS/BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license AZ or Compact.
• 1 year RN experience.
• ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence-based nursing care.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balancing comfort and needs.
• Demonstrates accountability for ethical practice and escalation when needed.
• Advocates for patients with holistic care.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Uses SBAR to notify physicians and conducts bedside nurse-to-nurse reports.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or foreign equivalent
• American Heart Association
  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
• One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
