Reston Hospital is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator in Virginia to mentor new nurses and support their development. You’ll guide skill development and provide hands-on support during critical care situations, helping to reinforce safe nursing practices.
This role requires an RN certification and an Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent. Comprehensive benefits, including medical and education support, are offered.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification is required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on nursing units to observe care and provide coaching.
- Guiding new and transitioning nurses through skill development.
- Providing hands-on support during rapid responses and codes.
- Teaching essential nursing skills and identifying training needs.
- Reinforcing safety standards and communication best practices.
- Partnering with unit leaders to support nurse growth.
