HSHS Medical Group is seeking an Assistant Manager-Nursing to support patient care leadership within the Women and Infants department at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role includes supervising staff, guiding workflows, and collaborating with care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure, 2 years as staff nurse in an acute setting, and leadership experience. Night shifts with some administrative days are included in a 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing preferred.
• Experience as charge/lead nurse or similar leadership role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit/department operations, staffing, and performance improvement.
• Develop workflows and prepare operational reports to support patient care excellence.
