Eastern Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Mercy Health, is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN). The role directs the Nursing Department and collaborates with the CNO to implement policies, ensure regulatory compliance and lead a team of RNs, LPNs, CNAs and support staff.

The ideal candidate is a BSN-preferred RN with Iowa license, CPR/BCLS certs, and 2+ years of nursing leadership plus rehab nursing experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active Iowa RN license (single-state or compact) required; must be updated when relocating.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years rehab nursing experience preferred.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. How You'll Contribute

The Nurse Manager functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and assumes responsibility for the Nursing Department. The Nurse Manager in collaboration with the CNO and leadership team assists to implement, interpret and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including regulatory and accreditation standards. The Nurse Manager directly supervises the Clinical Supervisors, Charge Nurses, RNs, LPN/LVNs, CNAs/NAs and Unit Secretaries. The Nurse Manager is responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters. The Nurse Manager reinforces the mission and vision of the hospital in all interactions.

What We're Looking For

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. BSN Preferred.
• Active Iowa RN license (single-state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Certification preferred
• Minimum of two years of previous nursing leadership preferred.
• Minimum of two years previous rehab nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
