Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to oversee nursing staff and clinic operations at the Aberdeen Medical Clinic.

This full-time role partners with the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and service excellence while supporting social determinants of health in the community.

Qualifications

• Active RN or BSN license in Washington state.
• LPNs considered if equivalent experience meets qualifications.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate 10-12 Medical Assistants including MA supervisors.
• Implement nursing policies with Medical Director and Health Center Administrator.
• Perform monthly audits and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
• Lead hiring for MAs and other support staff.
• Oversee nurse-only patient visit system.

Annual Salary: $74,958.09 - 92,444.35 (depending on license/experience)

Position Summary

Full-time Nurse Manager position available for our Aberdeen Medical Clinic. Sea Mar Community Health Centers is accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized by the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) level III.

The Nurse Manager works in conjunction with the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director in the daily operations of the clinic. They oversee clinical and administrative supervision of all nursing personnel. Ideal candidates are empathetic, calm, passionate, and motivated to make a difference and possess a strong understanding of the Social Determinants of health in a community health care setting. Candidates must be an RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA), including MA supervisors.
• Implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to meet Sea Mar’s standards, philosophy, and governmental regulations.
• Perform monthly audits (NPSG audits, etc.) and demonstrate knowledge of State and Federal Regulations as they apply to health centers or hospitals.
• Focus clinic efforts on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
• Lead hiring efforts for MAs and other support staff.
• Oversee and maintain a patient care system of nurse-only visits.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
• LPNs considered if they have equivalent experience to meet the qualifications.
• Complete state mandated HIV education.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
• Excellent communication, listening, and team building abilities required.

Desired Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and self-motivated attitude a plus.
