Job summary

Vail Health in Vail, CO seeks a Manager – Preop Pacu RN to oversee the Preop/Pacu unit. You will collaborate with the Director of Surgical Services to maximize patient safety, outcomes, and efficient workflow, while guiding staff through policy compliance and budgeting.

The role requires 5 years of Acute/Critical Care RN experience, a BSN, and CO (or compact) RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS. This is a full-time, day shift management position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years Acute/Critical Care RN experience required
• BSN Required; MSN/MBA/MHA preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in CO or compact state; BLS/ACLS/PALS required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day unit operations to maximize patient safety and outcomes
• Ensure staffing productivity and compliance with policies and regulatory standards
• Manage budgets and business resources for the unit
• Lead staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with surgical services leadership to improve workflows and patient care
