Job summary

Vail Health in Colorado is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead the Surgical Services unit. Working with the Director, you will steer day-to-day operations to maximize patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction while aligning with policy, budget, and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise in acute/critical care, and the ability to develop staff, manage resources, and implement quality improvement initiatives that advance care in our mountain

Qualifications

• 5 Years Acute/Critical Care RN experience required.
• 3 Years Leadership/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operation of the unit to maximize patient safety, clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction and workflow.
• Manages finances, budgeting and compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Supervises staff including hiring, disciplinary actions, coaching and evaluations.
