Vail Health in Vail, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Preop/PACU to provide compassionate nursing care in collaboration with the care team. This full-time, day-shift role supports both PreOP and PACU operations and requires certification and licensure as an RN.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado RN license or valid compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Provides patient education to facilitate plan of care and discharge instructions.
• Delegates or provides care according to regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates competent PreOP/PACU nursing across patient types and ages.
• Administers medications and assists in procedures with safety guidelines.
