Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Preop/PACU Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, individualized nursing care in collaboration with the team within a hospital setting in Colorado.

The role involves managing daily patient flow, educating patients and families, and delivering safe PreOP and PACU care with proper supervision and adherence to ASPAN standards. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, along with a Colorado RN license or valid compact state license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language.
• 1 year of RN experience.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Provides patient education to support care plans and discharge instructions.
• Delivers care for PreOP/PACU patients with appropriate supervision.
• Administers medications and assists in procedures following safety guidelines.
• Completes patient documentation accurately.
