Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA, seeks a RN Nurse Manager for the Post-Surgical Unit. This full-time leadership role oversees medical-surgical, orthopedic, bariatric and other procedures, with 24-hour accountability for staff leadership and unit performance.

You will develop clinical standards, staff growth, and participate in continuous improvement in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to achieve excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• California Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 3 years of relevant clinical experience (inpatient, acute care Medical Surgical).
• Nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains 24-hour accountability for clinical leadership of staff.
• Oversees personnel and fiscal management for the unit.
• Develops clinical standards and staff development programs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to review and improve practice.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory criteria.
