Job summary

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA seeks a Nurse Manager to lead a patient care unit within Nursing Administration. This full-time role requires 8-hour variable shifts and 24-hour accountability for clinical leadership, staff development, and budgetary oversight.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to uphold Joint Commission standards and drive quality improvement while mentoring staff and maintaining staffing levels according to the planned matrix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• California Registered Nurse License required on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour accountability for clinical leadership of staff.
• Manages personnel and fiscal resources; develops clinical standards.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and others to improve practice.
• Leads process improvements and ensures staffing aligns with patient needs and matrix plans.
