Job summary

Pennsylvania Hospital, a historic teaching hospital in Philadelphia, seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for Perioperative Services. This on-site leadership role guides daily OR operations, staff scheduling, and patient flow to ensure high-quality perioperative care.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing leadership to optimize the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA) and license in good standing.
• BSN is required; MSN preferred.
• CNOR certification and/or nurse executive certification preferred.
• Experience in perioperative/operating room leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OR operations, patient flow, staffing, and scheduling.
• Monitor budgets and allocate resources for efficiency.
• Promote evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing leadership.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing perioperative education.
