Mercy is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Main Operating Room to provide 24-hour leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while driving operational excellence and staff engagement. Manage a large perioperative team in a Level I Trauma Center with 27 operating rooms and pediatric care.

You will lead staffing, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Qualificações

• Current RN license
• BSN degree required; Master’s preferred
• Progressive perioperative leadership experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operations of a complex, high-volume surgical services department.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to support patient care needs.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve workflow and care delivery.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement evidence-based practices to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a highly engaged perioperative team.
• Support professional development, competency management, and performance excellence.
• Align departmental goals with Nursing Strategic Plans.
