Mercy is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Main Operating Room to provide 24-hour leadership of a Level I Trauma Center perioperative service. You will oversee a large surgical Services department and drive safe, high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and staff engagement.

You will lead staffing, foster safety and continuous improvement, partner with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure alignment with organizational and Nursing Strategic Plans.

Qualificações

• Current RN license
• BSN required
• Progressive perioperative leadership experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operations of a complex, high-volume surgical services department.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to support patient care needs.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve workflow and care delivery.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement evidence-based practices to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a highly engaged perioperative team.
• Support professional development, competency management, and performance excellence.
• Align departmental goals with Nursing Strategic Plans.
