Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in North Bergen, NJ seeks a Nurse Manager to provide high-quality nursing care with 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s) and to oversee daily operations, interprofessional collaboration, and policy execution.

The role emphasizes financial management, strategic project development, staff education, and a strong patient and staff experience focus while aligning with organizational mission and Magnet initiatives.

Qualifications

BSN required.
Three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
Ability to learn quickly with strong accountability and teamwork to improve patient care.
Commitment to ongoing education and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Participates in development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care goals related to patient care and organizational initiatives.
Manages day-to-day operations and ensures staff are trained on emergency/disaster policies.
Monitors nursing standards and compliance with regulatory agencies.
Plans and evaluates budget priorities related to patient care and service line finances.
Supports Magnet program and governance through data collection and exemplars.
