Job summary

Sentry Hill at York Harbor is seeking a Manager Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs and HHAs. This role maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and coordinates care with the nursing team while ensuring adherence to physician orders and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a current RN/LPN license in the state, with 1+ years of nursing experience in a health care facility and strong supervisory abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current LPN/LVN or RN license with an active license in the state where the community facility operates.
• Fluent in English to communicate with residents, families and staff.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents based on established nursing protocol.
• Supervise CNAs and HHAs in the delivery of resident care.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and supervise assigned personnel.
• Ensure medications are administered per physician orders and document accordingly.
• Observe residents and assess pain, oxygen therapy, dressings, and elimination.
• Prepare incident/accident reports and notify relevant parties as required.
• Assist residents with learning self-care activities and supervise meals.
