Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Manager Nurse to provide direct nursing care on assigned floors and supervise CNAs and HHAs, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The role directs care, medication administration, and documentation per policy, with emphasis on resident well-being and staff supervision.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and an active RN/LPN license. English fluency, leadership, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams are essential for success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Area of Study: Nursing
• Years of Experience: 1+ years
• Type of Experience: Nursing experience in a health care facility
• Special Certifications: LPN/LVN or RN license, with a current and active license in the state of this community facility
• Language Skills: Fluent in English to perform duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents based on established nursing protocol.
• Observe and assess pain, oxygen therapy, drainage, dressings, and incontinence.
• Assess residents’ physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs through observation and interview.
• Ensure accurate transcription of medical orders and integrate care plans.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document in MOR.
• Document accurately in resident charts and monthly summaries.
• Supervise nursing staff and communicate special instructions to team members.
• Monitor resident meals to ensure proper diet and assistance where needed.
