Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (required).
• Masters of Science Nursing or Masters in Health Administration or related field (preferred).
• Current RN license in state they are working or compact (required).
• 1 year experience in appropriate specialty area (preferred).
• 3 years minimum experience as a professional nurse with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour responsibility for supervising and coordinating administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas.
• Collaborates with ancillary and interdisciplinary teams to develop goals and objectives based on analysis of clinical data to improve patient outcomes.
• Responsible for achieving targeted KPIs and identified outcomes at the unit level.
• Provide daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team.
• Model core cultural and safety behaviors and implement high reliability principles.
• Meet productivity targets for the assigned department.
• Support the mission and vision of the organization.
