Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care within a multidisciplinary team using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while supporting mission and patient-centered care.

Essential duties include developing care plans, administering medications safely, and coordinating with other departments to ensure quality outcomes and patient advocacy. Strong communication and collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where practicing (or covered by compact).
• BLS (preferred at hire; must obtain before direct patient care).
• ACLS/NIH Stroke certs may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to set discharge or ongoing care goals.
• Complete and document patient assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Coordinate patient care and assist with education for patients and families.
