Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages all resources necessary to provide optimal nursing care, including staffing resources and supplies.
• Maintains productive 24-hour staffing and scheduling to meet labor standards.
• Evaluates quality of patient care using standards of practice and outcomes; supports performance improvement.
• Develops service strategies and monitors service levels to improve patient and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitates evidence-based nursing and aligns practice with organizational goals.
• Participates in shared governance councils and supports changes in nursing practice.
