Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Hartford Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to lead clinical, administrative and regulatory activities for the assigned department. The role requires a CT RN license, a Bachelor's degree, and 3–5 years of wound care experience in acute care, with 2+ years in leadership.

The successful candidate will oversee clinical practices, safety, patient experience and quality improvements, while managing HR, finances, and compliance in a dynamic teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications

• CT RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years wound care experience in acute care.
• Minimum 3 years relevant clinical experience.
• 2 years progressive leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the 24-hour clinical, administrative and regulatory activities for the assigned department.
• Oversee clinical practices, safety, patient experience and quality improvements.
• Manage human resources, financial performance and regulatory compliance within the unit.
