Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced Nursing leader to oversee a nursing unit with a patient-centered care model. The Nurse Manager will supervise staff, ensure quality and productivity, and align unit goals with organizational strategy.

The role requires active Connecticut RN licensure, a BSN, and BLS with Arrhythmia certification; specialty credentials are highly preferred. Excellent communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire.
• Specialty certification highly preferred.
• Strong Communications Skills Required - Both Written And Verbal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a work group to ensure a high quality, cost-effective product or service aligned with the hospital's plan.
