Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee a clinical unit. You will supervise nursing staff, develop care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality patient care.

This role requires strong communication, mentoring, and ability to drive performance improvements. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support staff development, and maintain smooth unit operations within a faith-based, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in Florida.
• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience.
• 2+ years nursing in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the employees of their unit in delivering patient care.
• Supervise nursing staff, provide feedback and appraisals.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives on their unit.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of patient services.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
