Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years clinical experience in LTAC/ICU or stepdown unit with ventilator patients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• One year of leadership experience as a charge nurse or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assures care is provided per standards and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains staff accountability for clinical and customer service standards.
• Coordinates care on the designated shift, including patient assignments and admissions.
• Develops staff schedules based on census and acuity.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels and real-time adjustments as needed.
• Participates in staff selection and onboarding.
• Mentors staff in conflict resolution and customer relations.
• Supports wound care rounds and documentation of wound assessments.
• Contributes to QAPI processes and data collection.
• Ensures regulatory requirements are met and supplies are stocked.
• Provides direct nursing care as needed.
