Job summary

Pioneer Health Care Management is seeking a Unit Manager RN for Pine Creek in Wayne, Michigan. This full‑time leadership role oversees nursing staff, coordinates administrative duties, and ensures high quality resident care.

The position requires a Michigan RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred), and 1 year of leadership experience in a SNF/LTC setting. Excellent communication and computer skills are expected for electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State of Michigan RN License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; Master's Degree in Nursing highly desirable.
• One year leadership/charge/supervisory experience in a SNF/LTC setting required; three years preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Computer literacy including Word and basic mouse/keyboard operations. Electronic clinical documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds on unit to assess resident care needs and environmental standards.
• Supervise nursing assistants and staff nurses to maintain care quality and safety.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance Process and care conferences.
• Handle on-call responsibilities and weekend house supervision as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure supplies, medications, and equipment are stocked.
