Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital seeks a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager, Advanced Care to lead shift operations within the LMH Endoscopy department. The CANM will guide nursing staff, optimize patient flow, and ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction, in collaboration with the Nursing Operations leadership.

The role requires a BSN and Florida RN licensure with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN/registered nurse licensure required or preferred; Florida licensure preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care settings; leadership exposure desirable.
• BLS certification required; specialized certifications preferred (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality patient care and strong customer experience.
• Staffing assignments across shifts based on patient acuity and team skills.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Monitor patient status and critical cases; ensure compliance with physician orders and policies.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to nursing staff and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
