Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) to lead shift operations within the clinical setting, ensuring high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, and efficient patient flow.

The CANM collaborates with Nursing Operations leadership, allocates staffing, monitors patient status, coordinates care with care coordinators and discharge planners, and supports frontline teams while upholding policy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Florida or via NLC.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications may be required based on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality care, patient experience, and optimal patient flow.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and patient care with leadership and operations colleagues.
• Monitor patient status and intervene to ensure safety and timely care delivery.
• Support frontline team members, promote collaboration, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Engage with patients and families to enhance experience and respond to concerns.
