NYU Langone Health is seeking a Nurse Manager (FGP) for Brooklyn, Fort Hamilton, to provide clinical leadership for a designated care area 24/7 and ensure high-quality nursing practice aligned with the hospital's mission.

The role emphasizes staff development, inter-disciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient experience and outcomes within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred upon hire and must be obtained within 5 years if hired after 10/1/25.
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and management of designated care areas on a 24-hour basis.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team to ensure quality, patient experience, and efficiency.
• Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion to attract and retain staff.
• Develop and manage the area's budget and monitor expenses against patient volume.
• Conduct interviews, hires, develops, and evaluates departmental leadership.
• Promote staff engagement, development, and satisfaction.
