Qualifications

• BSN required, or pursuing with completion expected within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in nursing leadership.
• Current Iowa RN license; Illinois RN license required if practicing in Illinois.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Mandatory Reporter.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead day-to-day departmental operations with focus on clinical practice standards.
• Ensure safe, high-quality provision of clinical services and outstanding patient experience.
• Regularly round with staff, providers, patients, and families to maintain visibility and accessibility.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation.
