Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Nursing Administrator to provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Plan, organize and direct multidisciplinary behavioral health and substance use programs to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, GA RN license, and 3–5 years of healthcare management experience. Master’s in Nursing and bilingual skills are preferred; employer offers competitive benefits and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Monitors admissions/discharges to the Crisis Unit to maintain occupancy.
• Collaborates with GCAL, ASO, Community Providers, and Regional DBHDD staff for coordinated CSU management.
• Monitors program purchases, costs, and overtime to meet budget expectations.
• Performs chart audits and analyzes data to improve service delivery and outcomes.
• Coordinates nursing efforts and daily unit operations.
• Supervises and coaches staff to promote professional growth.
• Ensures incident and infection control reports are completed within 24 hours.
