Job summary

Charleston Center is seeking a Nurse Coordinator II to lead frontline nursing staff across the Withdrawal Management Unit, two Residential Units and the Sobering Center, delivering patient-focused care and setting standards for quality.

The Nurse Coordinator will manage licensed nurses for 24/7 coverage, handle scheduling, training and provide clinical supervision, reporting to the Program Manager of Support Services.

Qualifications

• SC or multi-state nursing license with no restrictions.
• BCLS certification in all areas.
• Minimum of three years of RN experience in medical/surgical or substance abuse.
• Minimum of two years as charge nurse preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record charting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and ensure quality nursing care to all patients.
• Supervise and schedule all licensed nursing personnel.
• Ensure a high level of customer service satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Case Managers, Residential Program Administrator, Program Managers and Medical Director.
• Oversee Insurance Prior Authorization processes by training staff nurses and monitoring changes.
• Audit patient and medication records for compliance.
• On-call duties.
• Essential employee for emergency preparedness.
